I need to remove one head to replace a damaged valve.
I am not planning on removing the second head.

Should I use a GM gasket since I am only doing one head or can I use any type of aftermarket gasket?

What gaskets do you guys like, please give part numbers if you have them.

If you have a GM gasket on the other side, I suggest you use the GM gasket to keep the thickness the same. I'm using Felpro's and they hold up great.

 

The 2 gaskets should be same you know? at least thickness MUST be same ..

 

IMO pull out 2 heads and get Felpro 1074 , be cool..
