head gasket help

so i found out i blew my head gaskets today....

i need any and all info pertaining to putting new ones on, like the process, does the engine have to be dropped or lifted, what all parts do i need, etc...

i know all you fellow LT1 lovers out there have some knowledge in this field, whereas i have none. this is my first F body and my first LT motor...

i used to drive a Mustang GT 5.0 fox body... but soon found out z's are better! lol

help?

Make sure you take the heads to a machine shop when you have them off.

Buy or borrow a good torque wrench and have a helper.

I am pretty sure you can do it with the engine in place.

Mongoose,

Shoebox is your new best friend. He has seen it all, done it all, and took pictures of it in the process. Check his reference guides at:
