head gasket

head gasket

once i get to putting the motor back together i was thinking of going with the mr gasket .026 impala gasket, is this a good idea? i hear it helps with the comp ratio?

I did it with mine when I did the cam swap and had the heads off to swap the valve springs and have had no problems.

It also helps bring the quench down. My deck height after machine is . 010 in the hole. By using the Mr.Gasket 5716 I got my quench to . 036 which will be perfect. My custom came from Brett outta seal the deal.
