Head experts inside, how do these ports look?

I know you can't judge heads that much by pictures, but thats the only thing I can go off of since my car came with ported heads. So how do they look judging by the pics?

Im no head expert, but that looks decent to me. The roof looks a little too low (the heads ive seen usually dont have that much slant to them) and the teardrop on the valve guide could be a little better.

The were obviously hand ported and not very well gasket matched (but not everyone does).

I know on Lloyds LE2 heads (and maybe LE1) he ports all the way until you can feel the rocker stud hole in the roof. Just a thought for comparison.

Can't see the Very important short side radius, throat diameter, bowl area, or what valves they have, but from what I "can" see into the intake runner, they look alright.....Ofcourse they're VERY far from being an all out MAX effort LT1 port job, but (from what I can see in the pictures) nothing stands out that would really "kill" or hurt the flow real bad ....They were done by someone who did have some experience porting heads before..And IMO,Could easily be a 230-245 CFM port if I had to take a guess.........Joe

Definatly does not look "bad" and is an improvement - I would have peaked the guides... the really important part too look at is the bowl as has been said above.

Actually, the ports are a little bigger than stock gaskets, if I pull the intake manifold off next time I'm going to buy the race gaskets or w/e they are called, the top of the port is just a hair higher than my fel-pro gaskets. And they are within 1/16th of an inch of the gasket everywhere.
