Unhappy Head and cam install fees

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has had a head and cam setup professionally installed and how much it cost. I've got the LT4 convesion kit. I would do the installing myself but the problem is that I don't have a garage, and in m condo complex we're not allowed to work on our cars. The alternative is to park it in a nearby abandoned parking lot for 5 days or whatever but this seems risky (cops, vandalism). I'm bummed because I really wanted to do this myself but everytime I work on my car this old geez nearby writes me up and I get a fine.

On the + side, I am doing some minor head porting myself (in the basement storage unit (!) since the wife says NO WAY to aluminum dust in the condo). I'm also thinking that I might get LT1 edit and tune the car myself tho that's a whole nuther ballgame .

Any advice is welcomed!

can you rent a storage unit/garage for a month? What about a friends house?

anyway, it will be hard to get a good estimate on prices for installs. It really depends on how well the mechanic know these cars and their exp. with them. It can cut out some $$$ if it's not their 1st and they know exactly what to do. I would call some venders to see what they would charge(thunder or other full service shops).

I do 1-2 of these week. Typically ends up being around 22 hours.
