head and cam/full bolt ons..and only 13.8 at 102mph help!!
Custom cams sometimes show up ground +/- 6*
If you don't degree them properly, you'll be running with a very inneficient cam.
Was the timing chain new?
yes its a new chain but when i degreed the cam it showed it was 4* advanced!!! and i lined the sprockets up dot to dot could this possibly be my problem?? cause i bought the cam used from a guy on this board... if so what do i need to do to fix it?
INSTALLED CENTERLINE ANGLE (ICA)
Sometimes, there is confusion between lobe
separation angle (LSA), the topic above, and
the cams' installed centerline angle (ICA).
Both terms have to do with angles, lobes,
and reference the peak lift point, and are
somewhat related, but are two entirely
different measurements. The LSA is a
measurement of how far apart the peak lift
points of the intake and exhaust lobes are
ground into the camshaft. The cam has a
LSA as soon as it's ground, or just sitting on
the workbench. The installed centerline angle
simply describes the installed position in the
engine. It is a measurement the cam's
phasing; the relative position of the cam vs.
the engine's crank. This measurement is
usually referenced by the crank degrees from TDC at which the cam's
separation angle (LSA), the topic above, and
the cams' installed centerline angle (ICA).

Probably why these terms are so often confused, is that the numbers
turn up in the same range of values. A cam ground with 110-degree lobe
separation will read an installed centerline angle of 110 if installed
"straight-up," or with no advance. Since the cam is connected to the
crank via the timing chain, the cam's ICA, or phasing to the crank, can
be adjusted forward or back, changing the installed centerline angle.
This is called advancing or retarding the cam. The installed centerline is
what is checked when a camshaft is degreed in.Most aftermarket cams
are ground with some advance built in, typically about 4 degrees.
Advancing the cam makes all the valve events happen earlier, and
generally favors low rpm operation, helping idle quality, cylinder
pressure, vacuum, and lower speed torque. Retarding the cam
deteriorates these characteristics, though in some cases high rpm power
may be enhanced. The real score here is that advance will almost
always help improve performance as listed above, but most of the time
retarding the cam will gain little if anything, even up top.

Retarded 4* will net a significant loss (like 10%)
do u have an LT4 Knock module? ur HP is very low for ur setup. with a few boltons i threw 305.
I agree with Fuel pressure, exhaust leak, and If u dont have an LT4 knock module id highly suggest u get one. I'm in texas as well. Laredo area. If ur close i can go check it out with u and help trouble shoot it better.

ok i finally!!!! figured this crap out..and you wont beleive it...cause i dont..i was kinda pissed...lol but the reason why my car is not making the power it should..is becasue i was supposed to have a CC503...right??? but the guy i bought it from off the board..sent me a CC304 instead
lol i know!!! i was pissed cause he sold it to me as a CC503.... so anyways i ordered the CC503 and a nitrous kit from summit today and it will be here tomorrow
and me and a bunch of other people rented the track Saturday,so i will have it up and going tomoorow night so i can get it on the dynojet to get the shift points and adjust the tune a bit
but i will keep you guys informed on my progress, and the dyno #s,and track times
thanks for the help guys...
