head bolts
do you guys think i need new head bolts, when i change heads. when i got these heads put on, i had new arp's put on. that was 5-7000 miles ago, give or take.

yes you will they are TTY (torque to yeild) bolts and once they are removed, they are not to be reused

I dont think the head bolts are but i replaced them anyways. but i learned the hard way about the rod bolts. those defininately are.

95z 3 thrown rods 2 pass at track after rebuild

Why not do it? They are old and you can get better ones with more clamping power for about 50 bucks.

Only the original bolts on 96-97 LT1 are TTY, the ARP's can be reused.
