Do you use teflon tape or something else on the head bolts to keep the coolant from leaking?

I normally use a teflon paste OR and i am sure i will get flamed for this one Permatex #2 non hardening. I dont think tape would be good because of the debris falling off it. In amy case a small amount is needed.

 

I use regular thread sealant by Permatex aswell, always have
