head bolt sealant

I was just wondering if I should use the ARP sealant or just buy some good sealant from the autoparts store when installing my head bolts? Also what thread lock does everyone use? Thanks

Permatex thread sealant from AutoZone. Used about 3 tubes.

Edit-Permatex thread lock (blue tube) from AutoZone.

I am using the gm teflon thread sealant, and ARP head bolts. Is everyone still torquing their ARP bolts in 3 sequences as well?

I used the permatex pipe sealant with teflon. It is pretty much the same as the ARP stuff but cheaper.

Torque the bolts initially to 40 ft-lbs, then 50, and then the final torque spec all in bolt sequence.

You should follow ARPs recommendations. I followed AFR recommendations for their heads.
