Question Having a hard time getting cam dowl out????

I'm switching to a vented opti, and i'm having a hard time getting the origianl cam dowl pin out. is there a trick to it?? i'm dying to get my car back on the road and this is killing me. thanks for the info

Your gonna have a lot easier time grinding down the other one. I tried everything, heating it up with acetelyne and everyitng. Just measure and grind.

Oh, I get it, not switching cams, switching from a 93/94 opti to a vented, so he needs a longer pin.

That is not the only thing the cam needs. It must have a larger center hole for the vented opti drive to fit inside. That is why most people just change the cam.

I tried everthing possible too. I just pulled the cam out, rapped it in a towel and grinded down the dowl.
