Have you guys ever heard of this?

Right now I have a 1999 camaro ss. I found a 1996 ss, but its not a normal one. Its a slp edition. It has slp marked on the side right behind the tire and says 330 on it. It also has a number on the inside with a plaque by the shifter. Anyways it is completley loaded and has 8,000 miles on it. I was wondering what one would run for or if it would be a good trade for mine. Oh and they dealership its at is asking $18,995, which to me seems way to high, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks a lot.

96 is the first year they made the ss camaro. also, for the 96 and 97 slp took z28s and turned them into the ss. now gmmg does it. yes it is worth it. also, what color is it. if it is teal they only made 440 of them that year in that color. kinda rare

It is red with black stripes like the 30th anniversary. I don't know if that helps out. Also, how many did they make of those or is there any where i can find out about them. I did a search on yahoo and I couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Talking

I believe they only made 4800 that slp modified so if it is a 96 its a pretty good buy. The number on my friends is 448. also notice the exhaust. it should be a single exit dual tip on the driver side. lookin like the v6 with a little more power!!!

could be an LT4 car couldn't it, they were 330hp. If so, that would definitely be worth it

right, it's still an LT1 just with the slp stage 2 suspension, slp airbox, and slp exhaust.
