Polyurethane motor mounts actually reduced vibration over the stock worn out mounts on my car. Are you sure you installed them correctly and followed their instructions? Do you have a poly tranny mount?

all teh directions say are..

Instructions for # 7-1604 Transmission mount
1.) urathae mount will fit both one or two stud tye of mount to corssmember aplications. determine which type it is and use the screwes correctly..
2.) install (mount to crossmember) flat washers, lock washers and nuts suplied in this kit, as shwon in the diagram below. Do not tighten nuts at this time
3.) install, but do not tighten the mount to the transmission bolt, use the priginal factory hardware for this location.
4.)align the urethance moutn with the transmission and crossmember. tighten and torqe bolts to factory specs....

Poly mounts tend to cause lots of vibration issues in automatic cars. Something about them being slightly different sizewize opposed to stock. Manual cars dont have this problem. It will get better over time, but its still going to vibrate a lot. I love my poly MOTOR mounts, but i had a poly TRANS mount for a week before I went back to stock. No thanks.

Mine is an auto, I have both motor and transmission ES polyurethane mounts - no problem whatsoever.

Re: have a qeustion about poly urethane tranny mounts!!

Installed the ES poly tranny mount on my 95 M6 and my friend's 95 A4, the M6 vibration wasn't too bad, the A4 was awful! I also discovered that the ES poly mount was designed for the 3rd Gen and is the wrong size for the 4th Gen, causing a shift in the pinion angle. I'd suggest replacing it with a 1LE GM mount.
