i have used both the hurst ansd the b&m i had no problems with the instal at all but for the last 5 years i have used the jegs torque arm .....

hopefully i can help you with the instal with this part, for starters instal bracketry to the tranny first, then lube the bushing and tq arm end then slide it in,then pull it back to the rear housing to line up the two mounting bolts,i hope this helps you, as i have not had a problem like this...

Re: has anyone use the HURST TH350 conversion kit

the instructions told me to take apart the torque arm bracket and then bolt the inner side to the piece that goes on the tranny but the bolt holes dont line up or fit. and even if they did when the time comes to put the outer piece on there isnt a bolt hole for it to bolt o either.

i have pics . i think it is the wrong bracket

I looked at this bracket tonight for meangrn, unless there is something I am missing, or part that I haven't seen yet, I don't understand how this thing is supposed to work.

Is the 82-92 kit the kit 4th gen's use? I don't understand why there would be any different.
