Has anyone tried both an H-pipe and X-pipe at the same time?
Has anybody tried this?I know there is room for both, but?at present I have true duals w/H-pipe,but would like to get rid of the turbo muffs.and install flow thru bullit style muffs!and still keep noise down!.
I don't see adding an additional crossover pipe (X or H) making much if any difference in sound output...the basic idea for the crossover is to equalize the pressure in the two pipes, the minimal sound reduction is kind of an added benefit.
i have the X pipe on my caprice i think it's better than the H pipe but thats only opinion based anyways there really isn't any added benefit of having both , there is an added benefit of noise damping but only alittle

Dynomax turbo muffs.suck!!! wanna add bullit style muffs for more power, and they tuck into the driveshaft tunnel alot better,(or at least as good as its going to get)while trying to keep things somewhat quiet.
