A Lot Of The Pro Products Stuff That I've Seen Looks Really Good. Pro Products Actually Builds A Lot Of Parts For Bigger Name Manufacturers.

The Idle Issue Doesn't Have To Be Related To The Throttle Body Btw.

Yea i have heard that on big cam motors, you have to make the IAC bigger with a drill bit, i wonder if that was the idle issue?

So what does this thread tell us? Some people had problems with it, some didnt, some had problems with other brands? Some dont like it because its an imitation of BBK, or Edelbrock. My post was specific, who has a Professional Products TB, and what do you think.

that thread is the o.p. telling how he used to have a Prof. Prod. TB and what he didn't like about it, and how much better the bbk was.

I just bought one for my LE2 buildup. I won't be done until after the first of the year, but I bought it after talking to some guys at a local shop that builds and repairs perfromance cars. They actually specialize in the LT1 and LS1 motors and say that they have several customers with the Pro Products on thier cars. I figure, I'd give it a shot since I'm sucha a cheep azz. If I don't like it, then I'll eBay it later.
And, no they don't sell them.

This is one of those threads that can trail off and before ya know it there is no valuble information in it. With anything, there is good and bad, I personally have a TPIS 58mm tb and have had good luck so far but who's to say it won't take a crap this week.

You may buy a Pro Products TB and it may last for years

Yes i agree, i think right now its worth trying, i have a factory 48mm bored to 52, if it doesnt work i will trask it, and put on the 52mm, but now i have to finish this motor, and funds are getting low.
