I do not know if there is a rebuilt kit for them but, I have seen one rebuilt by taking the good parts from a vented opti (95-97) and put them in a non-vented (92-94). Note: that requires major modifications to some parts to make them fit and isnt practicle for a do it yourself project.

 

I bought mine rebuilt from napa. It looked new, just the origional case. It was a lot cheaper than a new one, plus I got the core charge back. Works good too. About 13kmi so far, not a prob at all!!

i bought a rebuilt one from the local Oreilly's and it literally lasted for about 20 seconds before it went bad. i took it back and got my money back and bought the brand new ac delco one.
