harness question?

harness question?

will a 95 formula engine harness work in a 94 trans am??

a couple of connectors are different, but if adapted with the connector from the 94, should work fine

i upgraded to the vented opti already if that is what you are refering to?

no, on the 94, there is a single connector on the right hand wheel well from the engine harness to the front harness, on the 95, there are 2 connectors there

all that should be needed is to splice the single connector into the 95 harness, IIRC, all the correct wires are there, just in 2 connectors instead of 1

I'll look into it to make sure that all the wires are there

look here, the connectors I am speaking of are C100(94 and 95) and C105(95)

looks like there is just 1 wire you will need to move from C105 to splice into a wire in C100(C105, wire B, splice into C100 wire K), and it will work

all the other wires in the C 105 connector look to be traction control(Or V6) related, and 94s didn't have the optional traction control


I would try starting/running it with all the wires left alone, since the wire inn C105 MIGHT be for traction control, if it is, it will all be good without it

cool thanks for the link.. i think that if i can't figure out what is wrong with my harness i am just going to get another one.. and just seeing if i can find more applications that are the same..
