The piece that holds my harmonic balancer, the one that presses on the crank snout was freely spinning, so i tightend that center bolt to get it to stop, but doesn't it matter which way the harmonic balancer position mark is facing? or should i not worry about it and just put the belt back on and drive.
If I understand your question. You mean while your engine is running and the the belt on. Your pulley is sliping on the crank? If it is I would send it off to Thunder Racing and have it passaged for a key if is not already to late. It is like 50. bucks or so to have done that is if its not already damaged. If is sliping on the crank it will back of the bolt. Ask me how I know. Its already happned to me.
