If your planing on buying a crank and going +.030 anyways, go 383. Its not much more to get a block stroker clearenced. Go Eagle or Scat rods and crank. Crane gold 1.6 roller rockers. I like Diamond or TRW pistons (and look into N20 porting and coatings)

do you think the stock crank and rods will ok? i dont want to spend 1700 on a stroker kit. i was gonna get the block splayed for a 4 bolt to help some.

Stock crank and rods are fairly strong. Converting to 4 mains and using strong ARP fasteners for the mains and rods will make it strong enough.
I like the comp pro magnum rockers, using the 7/16" ones. As for pushrods using the one comp hi-tech rods.
