Since you already have a loudmouth, I'd say 5-10 rwhp gain with the cutout. You wanna mount it in front of the CAT since that's the closest you can come to open headers.

Since you already have a free flowing catback, you won't gain anything by adding a cutout. All you're going to do is chop up your nice stainless steel catback. You may gain a few hp if you put it in front of the cat, but that is going to be LOUD.

and sound like a tractor. I'm not a fan of the loudmouth, and a cutout is going to be more obnoxious. IMO cutouts only belong at the track. But if your gonna do it pre-cat is the way to go for the most gain.

I really enjoy my cutout and get tons of compliments on the way it sounds. It can be tamed a bit by making different size caps to adjust how loud it is on the street. It's hard to say how much of a power increase it will actually give you. I'd say 3-10 depending on other mods. A cutout is cheap and not difficult to install. I can't see any reason not to do it. My car has LT's and no cats so I mounted the cutout just before the over axle pipe. I can easily reach it to change or remove the cap without jacking the car up.

I hope to add a cutout to my ride as soon as I can scrape up a few bucks.
I'll mount mine just before the muffler so the sound comes from the back of the car.

theres a spot right under the passenger back seat where there is a perfect spot for it. its about 2 feet in front of the axle. from under the car, it looks like that spot was made for a cutout.
