H/C parts...please confirm.

This winter I am doing a H/C set up, eventually working my way up to a 100hp wet shot. I need to know if you guys think my parts are up to par with the H/C combo plus nitrous. I know I am running a risk with the bottom end, but thats fine with me.

LE2 heads/cam package: $1,650 + shipping.
30lb SVO injectors are $220 from summit
Comp Cams Pro-Magnum 1.6rr $272.00
Comp Cams Hi-Energy hardened pushrods $36.95
Comp Cams "High Energy" Rocker Arm Studs, 7/16" $29.95
GM Performance Parts Pushrod Guideplates $26.32
ARP SBC High Performance Hex Cylinder Head Bolts $57.74
Cloyes 3145 + CSI E water pump $200

For lifters, I have 26k on mine, but If I will be aiming for ~500 rwhp, do you think it is a good idea to get some comp R's or similar?

I allready have a 255lph fuel pump.

I know I would need a good dyno tune.

New gaskets (heads, waterpump, etc) what do I need for this, and where can I get it.

Also, I have no idea on most of the part numbers, so if you could help me there, I would greatly appreciate it.

Tell me what you think.

Re: H/C parts...please confirm.

Combination motorsports sells a head/cam swap gasket kit that comes with everything you need. All the gaskets are either GM or Felpro so the are a good quality, plus they let you pic if you want to run a thinner impala head gasket or not.

I would say your lifters should be fine.

Would a thinner gasket increase the comp ratio?

Re: H/C parts...please confirm.

All the parts you listed should be good but I would have a hi-tech pushrod over the magnum, pn is 7940-16.
For the gaskets, head gasket is felpro 1074, intake gasket felpro 1284 and front cover gasket set felpro TCS45956. Also get 4 of GM seal 10108689 for the steam pipe.
Good luck

This is the input I need! Thank you

Also, will 30lb injectors be big enough? My N20 is a wet shot...so they won't get too much of a beating.

Also, is my 255 up for the task of ~400 rwhp NA + a 100 shot of n20?

Yes, thinnner head gasket would up the compression ratio. I think about 1/2 a point.

FYI, the gasket set i talked about comes with all of that stuff listed above. I think its all GM gaskets except for the intake gaskets and head gaskets.

A wet nitrous system wouldn't be affected by the size/type of injectors. The injectors should be sized as per the NA requirement which I think the 30 SVO is a good choise. The 255 should be more than enough for that hp level.

Re: H/C parts...please confirm.

Comp Rs have been having some serious quality issues lately, i would stick to OEM replacements or an alternate high performance lifter.

Yep I'd go with the factory ones they are fine with decent rpms and spring pressures. I would also look at the trick flow chrome moly pushrods, they are nice peices and much cheaper than alot of other comparable PRs.

Re: H/C parts...please confirm.

I WANT to be at around 400 rwhp off the n20, I doubt I will because I have an auto. If it is below 390, I will be pretty upset cuz I have pretty much all the bolt ons (minus a new TB) and all my bolt ons are the best you can basically get.

As for help, I always like a hand. I might be working in my buddies garage with him a lot this winter on his 500-600 hp 89 Shelby daytona. I'm going to ask if I can work on it there cuz he has a large heated garage with 2 generations worth of mechanic tools. As for biran, I thought he was heading back to florida for the winter., but I'm sure he would help.
