H/C HR Cars Pushrod Length Poll
H/C HR Cars Pushrod Length Poll
For you H/C hydraulic roller folks with setups that include rocker studs (no shaft mounts) and longer that stock valves I'd like to know what length pushrods you are using. Additional information to include in your post (if you know it) should be the amount of milling on the heads, head gasket thickness, location of valve tip contact pattern (center, offset I, or offset E), length of valves, and number of turns on the polylocks (total, not lifter preload). And if you've got it, put up a picture of the contact pattern.
My info is as follows:
> 7.30" pushrods
> .020" milling on heads
> .029" (Impala) head gaskets
> offset towards exhaust
> +.10 over stock length valves (I think)
> 8 turns on polylocks

And here is a picture of the swipe comparison between 7.05" and 7.30" pushrods. Sorry about the crappy pic for the 7.30" but that's all I have.
