for guys that are veteran H/C installers, what would you do next(everythings off)

I got the heads off and the cam out, i'm getting ready to install everything, probably tommarow, what would be your best advice. I've been cleaning the gasket surfaces with a razor blade and they look pretty dam clean. Also I have a towel in the lifter valley and there is still some junk in there along with some towel lint, ive been picking it out with my fingers but was wondering what a good way to get it out? Flush it out with oil and drain the pan? Thanks guys, LE2 should be done by christmas

You should flush it out and drain the pan, and then run a cheap dino oil in there with a AC filter after the install is all said and done. Run the motor for a few minutes till it warms up to make sure you get everything out of the motor and then put your favorite synthetic in there with a new oil filter and you should be good. Being clean is always the key here.

Make sure the timing gears are lined up if you are changing them and if you go with a Extreeme Duty TC make sure you run the new water pump gear also.

got another question is this the right order for the cylinders
8 7
6 5
4 3
2 1 because when i have the #1 cylinder on my chart at TDC my #6 is also at TDC, i thought they have different TDC's because the cam gear is at 12' at one and 6' at the other.

Not necessarily, dont forget, the cam spins 1/2 as fast as the crankshaft

I have a double roller and CSI, i was wondering if there is an install guide to this like what needs to be taken out of the pump?

Cam gear should have the dot at 6 o'clock, crank gear dot should be at 12 o'clock. This is the point where the two dots "meet" each other.

"Line up the dots on the timing gears. 12 o'clock for the crank gear and 6 o'clock for the cam gear. This will put the cam dowel at 3 o'clock and #6 TDC. "

That is from shbox's site, but my #6 and #1 are at TDC, or is this thing just for firing order http://shbox.com/1/cam_timing_ani.gif i thought it meant which cylinder is at TDC

Yes there should be a coolant crossover tube on the back of the heads. If you don't have one get it from a dealer (I paid like $60 for mine). That animated GIF is just showing you firing order where each cylinder is at TDC. When you install the cam just line the gears up 6 and 12 o'clock. Forget everything else that is all you need to know. Firing order will be important when you go to adjust rockers.

You have to take the water pump gear out of the top of the block and plug where it goes thru the timing cover with a freeze plug. I machine the cover and turn a plug on the lathe because it's cleaner and seals better.

I have arp head bolts on the box it says 65lbs and then right under it says aluminum expands so set them to 60lbs, and when I put the sealant on the bolts does it go on just the threads or everything? O and what bolts require thread locker?

No thread locker except on the camshaft retainer plate bolts. Every head and intake bolt should get thread sealant.
