does anyone knows anything about a xcelerator muffler for LT1, the local muffler shop quote me $130 for the muffler only installed.
I saw the muffler and it has straight flow, not like flowmaster or the one that I have,
do you know anything about that muffler?

 

i got the whole cat back system on my car. it sounds really good. i got a loud rumble to it. i have heard flowmaster, slp and some others and mine sounds just as good as those if not better. the reason why i got is because the top mecanic at the chevrolet dealer has a 98 ss with slp on it he switched it to excelorator and said it sounded better and gained horsepower over the slp exhaust. plus the price is great. i got the whole system installed for $310

I guarantee there isn no gain over a SLP sysetem, The xcelerators are a really cheap knock-off of a Ultraflo.

 

ok, the guy with the 98 ss dynoed his car before and after. he picked up an average of 4hp aver the slp. 3 runs with each muffler. no bull ****. my car with the mods below before i put the 1.6rr on my car dynoed at 291.4hp at 5600rpm and 284.3 tq at 4600. and as far as where i got the exhaust i went through a local muffler shop in town.

Guys anyone has it? how about the sound, tomorow I am taking the car to the muffler shop they asked $145 installed
