guide plate question

I have a set of NSA 1.6 rockers. I know i need guide plates to run them.
I was told that to run them i would also need a longer rocker stud is this correct? If so which studs are most people using and which guide plates are suggested?

Thanks for all you help
Chris

Re: guide plate question

Those are the same GM performance guide plates that I used, and I believe them to be the only dimensionally correct plates for LT1/4 applications.
I’ve used ARP 7/16 studs that have the same length as stock, so I don’t think you’ll need taller studs. Make sure that pushrods are hardened steel.

Re: guide plate question

The only guide plates I find to accurately locate the rocker on the valve stem of LTx heads are adjustable plates.

Maybe, it's just me.
