It it possible to just grind the tabs off of a sa rocker to make it non-sa. Heres what happened. A couple of my sa rocker tabs got chewed on about 3 or 4 rockers and i dont have the cash for a new set yet so i was thinking of just grinding em flat and using a guide plate for those rockers. Has anyone done this before? what would be the best way to grind it since the tabs are so close to the roller?

Besides the sa tabs what are the diffrence between the two.

i believe the only difference is the aligning tabs. so in essence it should work.

HOWEVER, in my experience it's NEVER a good idea to mix and match parts. if only 2-3 of the rockers are bad, you can order invidual rockers. check summitracing.com or call the company directly.

 

well i spent good money on these pro mags i wanna try grinding all the tabs and run them with lt4 guideplates, Ill let you guys know the outcome.
