Greetings!
Hi everyone, My name is Aaron, I mainly post at http://www.fbody.com under the name Black Screamin Machine. IF you have been there you undoubtedly seen me lol. Just thought id branch out and meet more fbody lovers and I hope i can lend a hand in any situation that arises. Feel free to email me at GGSabin54@aol.com or AIM at the same name.
My car is a 1994 Black Camaro z28 with these current mods:
Current Mods: LT4 Hotcam/springs, Ported, polished, shaved LT1 heads, 1.6 Crane Gold RR, K&N CAI, Dynamax Jethot coated shorty headers. PCMforless programing, TB bypass, UD pullies, electric exhaust cutout, Trans-go shift Kit, 2000 HD stall.
Future Mods: Nu-tek 383 stroker (all forged internals), 255lph fuelpump, 30lbs injectors, Lt4 starter, CSI waterpump, Refreshed PCMforless Programming
In the fall of 2002 i burnt a bearing in the motor and a Nu-tek 383 stroker package is slated to be done. I ironed out all the details with Nick Norris. I highly recommend them if you to consider ANY engine work. Prices are great and customer service is stellar!
Here is my site for the car for those interested!

I got the same ones off a member on here and havent installed them yet but was wondering where u could buy them etc.. specs all that stuff....

The headers were put on by the previous owner, they are a step up from stocker manifolds, but honestly i dont like them much, in terms of plug accessablity, i think they are the same level of SLP, which are not the greatest.
The headers were sent out to Jet-hot coating http://www.jet-hot.com They look great and i highly recommend the processing.
As for the times. I only got a chance to run the car 2 times before the tranny went and then when the tranny was fixed, the motor went like 3 weeks later. I was not happy, but it was the previous owner matience that lead to that.....
I ran it 2 days after i got it. I did nothing too her.
i ran her
full weight
balding rear tires at 40 psi!?! (yikes)
Bad tranny (didnt know she was going yet)
The first time slip was 13.51 at 107 mph with a 2.35 60 foot. Even though the et sucked compared to mods, the MPH easily put me in the mid to high 12's easy. The 60 foot was horrible and there are no mods for suspension on the car. The rear was 3.23 posi. I also hit a 2-3 shift rev limiter..... ack
The second run and the only other i could get. I dropped the pressue to liek 26 psi, This help my 60, which dropped to 2.2's. It was night and i had forgotten to turn my lights on!?!, I forgot, and with the track lights i didnt know how dark it got near the end.
Long story short i stopped early and I ran a 13.4 at 98 mph LOL of all things, which means i would have had my 12 second run easy, but thats life.
Now with the 383, my new problem will be suspension and rearend. SO we will see. I hope to hit LOW 12's and maybe a 11 if i can hook up with a stock 10bolt rear ( not liekly).

Well Hello Aaron, welcome to the board, since you offered and you seem to be pretty experienced maybe you can lend a hand with my situation.
Why is my car so slow. It traps 102mph in the 1/4 with the mods in sig.
Please feel free to lend some technical expertise.
Later!
Sorry I had to vent!

Mmmhmm could it be.....?
Got some mods there yup!
Well going through your stuff, i didnt notice what kind of 60 Foot's are you putting down.
DO you have a FULL timeslip so i can take a gander at it. Cus i mean if your hooking well you should be trapping well, but if you hacve a problem down the track you can tell in the time slips, or the exact oppposite, where your not hooking well, and now your playing catch-up!
My car didnt hook well, but at the end of the track i played catch up.
Question do you have any diagnostic software, a laptop, scanmaster, scan tool, or anything to check your car out with, Your tuning may not be optimal.
If your running excessivly rich, its gonna hurt performace, espcieally with the 30+lbs injectors. In my opinion thats WAY too much, Im doing a 383 and 30 is just right, you may be drowning the motor.
If you want contact me at GGSabin54@aol.com if i dont hear from yea ill see bout contacting you.
But keep in mind the tuning and diagnostic software work hand in had, you use the diagnostic software to tell if you are where you need to be, then call PCMforless for a chip.

Well here it is:
60 Foot was 2.6XX I know really bad.
1/8 mph was 9.5++ @ 81.xxx (needs to be 85>)
1/4 was 14.27 at 101.8X (should be 110?!!???)
I do got PCM4Less tuning, and yes it eats gas, I can even smell it. (No mufflers/cats).
I had to fill up my gas tank 3 times that week-end. My CAVI would have gone around the world with that gas.
I am putting 3.73's soon, my brother rapes me after 3rd. He has all bolt-ons, Hot Cam kit, 3.73, with a 6-speed.
I was getting code 43 (Knock Senosr Circuit Error), I bypassed that with a 1/2 watt 3.9k OHM Resistor, no codes no more. I just downloaded scanning software, Freescan and TTS stuff, but I am waiting for the cable.
i did tell PCM For Less to make the necessary adjustments for the 30# FORD SVO injectors. They come out to 32.6#, when using stock F-Body Fuel Pressure.
But I think you are right, this thing does eat my gas. do you think the 93PCM is too stupid to recognize the change even if programmed by pcm4less?

Your bogging badly
yea just going through the 60 foot, and 1/8 times, your bogging horrible, i thinkit has to do with being too rich, but you will see that when you diagnose the system witht he new cable and software.
I did the conversion on your 1/8 time, it converts to 14.7 1/4 times. SO yea i would prob put the old injectors back in if you ahve them (just have them rebuilt ro buy new), and retune, and go from there.

BlkScreaminMach,
Thanks for your input as it now makes more sense than ever.
Please read on:
As I was checking the oil level on the car, pull out the breather filter (I have a breather filter on top of the oil stem, instead of the oil cap), I almost had a heart attack. I see sludge in my oil inside of the filter and oil stem. Fearing the worst, I quickly checked water, but It was nice and clean. (Thank God) So I then take a sniff at the filter and man does it wreek of gasoline, very strong smell.
How in the world did gasoline get in there?
I wont turn my car over until I change the oil this week-end. I still have the 22# stock injectors, and I believe they are still good. But would happen if hypothetically the car has been programmed for the use of 30# SVO injectors?
There are some signs of this that I never picked up on.
1.) Eats gas like crazy.
2.) Smells like gas on start-up and my friends tell me it smokes black upon WOT.
3.) There is quite of bit of vapor/steam that emits from the breather filter - i thought that was normal.
4.) Tempature goes up at WOT, then goes down as I let go of the gas. Maybe the heads are heating up as I go WOT.
Well what do you think?

ANy time you change injectors, you need ot have the pcm redone, so that they duty cycle, and the pulsewidth reset. Other than that, changing all the fluids, new plugs, flushing everything will help alot.
Well that it was I asked them to do. If they did hypothetically adjust for the 30# pound injectors, what else could be wrong? Fuel Pressure Regulator?
I will send the Chip back for another re-program, and ask if they had adjusted for them.
