I'm thinking about putting a bigger cam in my car. With the mods in my sig. what do you think i should go with? it the lt4 hot cam kit any good or should i go with a comp? thanks! btw, i would get the pcm reprogrammed to match up with the cam.

If you plan on porting and polishing your heads then I would get a cam other than the Hot cam. If you are tight on money the Hot cam is great, but there are many more out there. Check out www.cmotorsports.com I just got the XE 224/230 and I love it. Great pull midrange and up. Another thing, do you have to pass emissions?

I've seen people with ported and stock heads making good power with the XE 230/236.

Definitely go with any of the Comp XE grinds, or get a custom grind from Combination motorsports, assuming that you dont have to pass emissions. Get the package from combination too, its a great package from what Ive heard, and you dont have to machine the heads for the springs.

I would go with a Comp XE cam like said above. I'm planning on either the 224/230 or 224/236 for my car. I'm going to keep the heads stock for now. Go through www.cmotorsports.com and get their cam kit. Its an awesome deal
