Unhappy Got a problem with car, need help!

If I have a broken Map sensor and replace it but not clear the code, Is it still broken as if the map sensor wan't replaced?

I had a broken map sensor but I replaced it. I did not get the computer reset for the code that it was throwing because it couldn't move because of a broken tranny.
I have a fuel pressure regulator that is set at 42 psi. When I went to the dyno the map sensor was bad and so we set it at 32psi (was the best pressure setting so I didn't run lean.) Should I set it back at 32psi or should I leave.

Just unplug the pcm fuse for a few minutes, it will clear the code.
