I just bought a 96 T/A M6 ( since then havent left this board methinks ) Anyway, the question I have is, when quickly starting from a stop I feel like I fly through the rpms in 1st, compared to 2nd gear, but I also feel like I accellerate faster once in 2nd gear. Should fisrt gear "pull harder" then second or is my ***-gage just off with my SOTP comparison? ( I like to use terms I just recently learned lol )

Yeah thats normal. there is quite a drop between first and second because of the steep (3.06) ratio in first and the normal ratio in second. or as i used to put it, first gear scary, second gear.................not scary, lol. hope this helps, prorac1
