Got my cutout in the mail today!
But it did not show up in time to get installed.
So I am getting up before class and having it welded on.
Does anyone have sound clips of a cutout on a car that still has dual cats on it? I have several of cars with no cats but I am worried it will not be loud enough...
I know they sound good I guess I am just excited about getting it, now I have to play the waiting game. If you have any clips please post them and put my fears to rest. Thanks guys.

Man.....just wait till you hear what that cutout will unleash.
I'm not sure how much louder it would be with no cats. I dont have any cats and its crazy loud!
It was so nice out yesterday I decided to cruise with it uncapped. Well needless to say I capped it back up this morning.

It's gonna resonate real bad if you decide to weld it below the passenger seat. I mean, your center console will vibrate everytime you hit the gas. Tell them to weld a turn down piece of pipe that extends until the rear axle. Less headache.

Thanks for the heads up but I built a custom center console last summer out of sheet metal and it doesn't make a peep. I will have to post some pics of it when I get it reapolstered. Building the thing was a lot easier than covering it with carpet!

It is like the borla which does have one pipe that bypasses the muffler but it is not a full 3 inch diameter like the real borla, it is about like having the middle plate in all the time. So I am going with a 3 inch cutout on the i-pipe for unrestricted flow. I realize that I will not see much of a power gain from this but I am doing it mostly for the sound level increase. But the less pipe it has to go through the better so it will not get any worse, plus it was like $36 so it's all good.
