Got my '94 Z28 to the dyno...results within

What's in the car (relevant to the results)...

385ci LT1 block
LT1Dave "frankenstein" heads and intake
236* cam (custom grind)
Delteq ignition
Hooker longtubes
Crap-tastic 2.5" exhaust system (replacing soon), e-cutout
T56 transmission (bye bye, 4L60E)
Stock steel driveshaft (replacing soon)
Moser 9" rear with 4.30 gears

I think that covers the most important junk that's in there. We guessed 420HP when the cam went in...it came close to that number, and will probably hit it with the new driveshaft and exhaust. The numbers...

Good enough for me. We could have probably squeezed some more out of it with a bigger cam, but since this is my only car, I wanted to keep it somewhat tame since I have to drive it every day. I'm very happy with it so far...it drives great. I'm looking forward to getting it to the track once I get comfortable with shifting (been a while since I've had a manual).

My friend should have some video of it uploaded soon...I'll post that up when he's finished with it.

Very nice, definitely go to go bigger on the exhaust.

I have a Pacesetter y-pipe and a Magnaflow catback on order...should be here in a week or two. Half of my y-pipe is smooshed down to about 1" tall thanks to a "Dukes of Hazzard" incident this past winter (don't ask). The rest of the exhaust between the y and the axle was temporarily replaced with a stock i-pipe since I was in a hurry to get it back together. I'm guessing the new exhaust should flow a bit better than my current one.

Good #s

You should gain a bunch w/ a better exhaust.

And here's the video of the pull...it's a little wiggly in spots, but still pretty clear.

What valve springs are you using? It might be me, but with how steep the power drops off, it kind of looks like you are getting valve float.

The dropoff was from him letting out of it at the end of the run. I'm running K-Motion K800 springs, which should be more than enough for the cam.
