Thumbs up Got me a big Stall... w00t w00t

I bought this 3000 stall converter yesterday for my LT1.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=33727&rd=1

I can't wait to get that baby in there. The car is hibernating till spring though, so I'll be waiting for a little while...

This march, when I bring the old girl out, I plan to put in this stall, along with a set of Strange Pro Street 4.10 gears , a TA Performance Girdle, and a TA Performance stud kit... Oh yeah, puttin in a transgo shift kit too...

That's not too big of a stall but you're going to like the difference.

not big as far as stalls go, but for a street only machine, it's not to small either...

What brand did you go with.

Those mods will put a nice smile on your face at the track

Cool. Is it a custom built converter? What's the diameter.

You're going to regret going 4.10 in an automatic AND spraying..

You're going to run out of gear before the traps. If your spraying I'd suggest 3.42's or 3.73's at the most.

I'm still debating that. At the very least I will be getting 3.73's, but I think the 4.10's would feel awesome, and I rarely use the nitrous. Only as an insurance policy...

That's correct bud. The 700R4 and the 4L60 are pretty much the same thing. The 4L60E is just an electronically controlled version off it. They are nearly identical except for the electronics. They use the same TC's, he just didn't put it in that add on ebay...

I thought that the 4L60E ('94-'97) was the electronic version of the 4L60 from the 1993 LT1's...?

That is correct, but the 4L60 from the 93 LT1's is basically a 700-R4 with a different name...

93s have 5 pin case conectors and an extra check ball in the valve body than a regular 700R4.

Good to know...thanks for the input...

I guess it's more of an "upgraded" 700r4 than just one with a different name...
