Got LT's, What accessories do I need?

I have the Headers, ory pipe is coming in soon hopefully, and i have o2 simms.

What gaskets/bolts do you recommend?

i also plan to get my wires changed and new plugs.
what wires (maybe ovc) and plugs do you recommend?

i also plan on removing the egr because it is acting up. is there any programming needed for this?

what about hardware?

If you eliminate AIR or EGR you will need programming on your 97.

I went with Taylor OTVC wires.

I also chose NGK Iridium plugs.

I used Stage 8 locking header bolts (just cause they have an allen head) and SCE Copper gaskets with some ultra copper RTV. Two weeks and no leaks at all. Bolts haven't even worked their way loose.

Also: O2 sensor extensions, new oil filter, few other things.

Watch out for the coolant temperature sender before you drop the driver's side exhaust manifold.

I use Fel-Pro 1406 header gaskets and ARP header bolts. NGK TR55 is pretty popular. MSD or Taylor wires are good. Go with OTVC set-up. Thunder Racinging sell the OTVC kit.

The O2 extensions are for your pre-cat O2 sensors (some need one, some need 2 depending where the collector is) and has nothing to do with the O2 sims. I had to remove my oil filter to drop the exhaust manifold, hence why you would need a new one. And what plastic covers?

so if i have hooker longtubes, i need 1 or 2 o2 extenders?
on this page
http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1052
I would need the following:
11-8911 Stage 8 Locking SBC Header Bolts, 3/8 X 16 - 3/4" long
11-1406 Fel-Pro LT1 Header Gaskets, D-Port
99-O2EXT Oxygen Sensor Extension, 24" Flat 4-Pin (Front Sensor on 1994-1997 F-body, Front & Rear on 1994-1996 Impala SS)
and on this page
http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1087
04-74639 Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm Spark Plug Wire Set, 96-97 LT1 Camaro/Firebird, BLUE
Do i need 90 degree boots?
and 8 of these
50-TR55 NGK TR55 Spark Plugs, Stock heat range, gapped at .050
and an oil filter
anything else on the list needed?

ARP bolts are good and probably a lil cheaper then the stage8 locking bolts
FelPro #1406 gaskets are a good idea, dont forget your 3inch collector gaskets either! and maybe some copper sealer for the slip fit primary, i think i got lucky with mine and didnt need any but most do.
i didnt have to get a new oil filter i took my stock manifolds out thru the top so maybe thats why?!
it might be a good idea to get some sort of heat shield for the starter as precaution, the pass. side header collector comes pretty close to it!
if you go with OTVC wires dont forget some zipties, some have had luck without them but i feel better using them just in case.
Iridium plugs are nice but expensive and not really needed, NGK TR55's will work great, TR6's if you plan on using nitrous.
and yes you will need to have the emissions stuff deleted off your ECM, i had "Madwolf" do mine and a few other things like lowering the fan turn on temp (good idea with headers), raising the rev limiter, deleted the rear O2 sensors so i didnt have to use O2 sims, he did all this for an excellent price!!
one more thing plan on the install taking twice as long as you have planned

I might sell my hypertech on ebay and get him to do that for me. how much does he charge?
i guess i could sell my o2 simms too in that case. the reason why i wanna go !egr is because i had a ses light saying my egr valve was blocked.
how does his programming work?
do you have to send in the pcm and have your car not working?
ill get some heat shield from autozone.
Im not installing them myself, im getting it done by a mechanic i know because i dont wanna mess anything up.
Who sells arp bolts?
if it isnt more than a $15 difference ill just get these.
do i need the 90 degree boots for the OVC wires?
