Got Loudmouth On....HOT DANG!!!

yesterday was my day off and i spent the rainy/snowy day in my garage taking off the stock exhaust and putting on my SLP Loudmouth cat-back. it came in the mail yesterday morning from my FIRST buy off the for sale boards here. i bought it from Goeffery Chadwich, and i must say it was a good experience. i hope all other future buys here go just as well.

i LOVE the sound of the exhaust! it sound like a real beast now. that combined with the K&N CAI i put on, really FEELS like it makes a difference. i think i may have lost a little low end power, but the mid range/top end has definatly picked up some, AND i THINK (not sure yet) i am seeing a SMALL improvement in mpg.

that thing sounds amazing at 5,7k!!

thanks Geoffery!!!

I'm glad it went well. I ws an improvement about .5mpg in city and about 1.5 on hwy. Power wise on bottom end it looses a little, espicially with no cat, but the top end is nice. For grins, coast it down the road and brake to a stop when a honda revs at you. Rev back.

Another test is go through a mall parking lot and rev hard. I succeeded in setting off a few car alarms.

Suprisingly. But when I started it with people right behind it the first time, they ALL jumped.

I loved the sound, but every single friend and relative I have hated it - and none would dare ride with me. So I'm looking for something more mellow and quiet under idle/cruise (that still has HP gains)

Dont forget I'm in a convertible! Top down it's even louder!

The dynomouth is just a dynomax bullet muffler welded in the stock i-pipe before the bend over the axle. After the axle, I have a y-pipe splitting off to the tips. Its a setup just like the loudmouth. Its not a true cat-back but it only cost me roughly $100 parts and labor. Thats why I call it the poor mans loudmouth. Im working on getting some sound clips of it but Im not doing so well with that right now. Hopefully Ill get those up soon. Hope this helps.

Bo
