good fuel pressure still wont run

good fuel pressure still wont run

i cant get it to start now i checked fuel pressure and it is up to nearly 50 psi with key on.now it wont start at all were do i look next.it didnt backfire or smoke at all it would just idle really rough and nearly die when gas was pressed

Unplug your mass air flow sensor.......with the symptoms you mentioned that's where I would start. If that don't work, pull off any spark plug wire and check for fire. hope this helps.

i am getting spark i stuffed an arm down there and unplugged #1 and i am getting spark.i also got it to kinda run.when i unplug the maf do i try to start it or will it start up if that is the problem

It will start............and run better if it's bad(it will go into speed density mode I believe).

i unplugged the maf my ses light came on and it ran better but still stumbles really bad but it was drivable around the driveway

When you unplug the MAF it's suppose to turn on the ses light. If it runs better I would bet that's what your problem is. If you can get your hands on another one (maybe a friend who has a LT1 F-body?) try it out and see if that's what it is. they cost a couple hundred $'s new.

I Found It When I Went To Put In A Friends Maf There Was A Huge Tear In The Intake Boot Just Before The Throttle Body At The Mold Seam Couldnt See It Till It Was Off The Car.put His On With My Maf And It Is Back To Its Old Self Again .thank You 30696bird!!!!!!
