I want to find if this crain cam is small or not big but ok. It is a powermax 2033 intake 319 eshaust is 345 and valve is 475 518 I don't know what any of this means. But I have springs and rr that match. Thanks ahead for any help.
That cam is a 227 which is 210/224 w/ 1.6 rockers and 511/552 lift. Considered a baby cam. It is basically an RV cam with lots of low-end pull. It is a 6000 rpm cam and works very nicely with the Lt1.
As far as where to get one---I understand that Crane is or has gone out of business just recently. I would try and find one anyway, and don't forget that someone on here may have one for sale.

Well, those are decent times and that is a good cam. If you go bigger, you may get more power, but sacrifice drivability. You will get plenty of suggestions here to go bigger----all depends on what you want and what you intend to do with the car most of the time.
I have that cam in my 97SS M6. I am running SLP shorties and I don't have a clue what it would do in the quarter. I just know that it drives and idles like stock, but really pulls hard out of the hole.

Well, you are probably around 350 now, so to get another 50 you are going to have to go bigger on the cam and probably go with a stroker. I honestly don't know. I am certain, though, that others have good ideas. Let us know what you decide. JMHO
From what I remember I remember Frank (forget his username) ran an 11.7 with that cam. It's the same cam I have, it is a nice little cam. I put down 325rwhp with stock heads and supporting bolt-ons.
