Good CAI kits

What brands of cold air intake kits are good for my car (1993 Trans Am with LT1). I'm not looking to spend more than 200, the less i have to pay the better... mainly want to get this because i heard it helps fuel consumption and Performance. Any Info at all would be apreciated.

Another vote for the Lingenfelter CAI. Its only $169 and you can order it at www.lingenfelter.com . The gains between all CAI's aren't noticable (you wouldn't think). Its all a matter of personal preference.

i have heard moroso has best hp gains. However, most should be pretty close. Go with the one you prefer.

All the CAIs have basically the same power gains from installing them. I vote for SLP because I think it looks the coolest. However, it might be alittle bit more than the others (not sure on costs, I got mine 2 years ago! LOL.
I got my K&N 2 years ago for $125 new, wish I woulda done the SLP but I had never seen it before!

I like the SLP CAI (slponline.com, thunderracing.com, tbyrne.com, cmotorsports.com) because it's sleek. Power-wise you wont notice a diff. between them. And the SLP is a PITA to work with to remove/install the intake bellows and/or MAF sensor (which you dont have) because it's solid and does not give an inch to work with, where many of the others are rubber or plastic and can be 'persuaded' to one side.

Got my Moroso from Summit for $189.95, and I could definitely feel the difference.

www.lmperformance.com has SLP CAI on sale for $175 right now...but that's for 1994-97 Camaro/Firebird--which doesn't do you any good now does it? Just the same, I vote SLP.
