hi guys has anyone used golen engines for there stroker motor if so what do you think and any other info you can give .

Hey, I did a search on this and found alot of good info. But further more, I called Golen and talked to Chad, (I think his name was), and he was cool and answered all the questions I had. He will do just about anything you want. I am thinking of buying one of his instead of building. But anyway, depending on where you live, the shipping is around $250 and there is no core charge. He said the forged short blocks can handle around 650 HP. And depending on the time of year, the turn around is about 2 weeks or so. I believe He also said there was a life time warranty on labor and a discount on parts as well. Anyway, call him to get the facts, this is just what I remember.

 

we sell golen through my work, they are the only engine manufacturer that we haven't had a warranty claim on. We've sold prolly 10-15 stock 2-bolt sbc's, and they all seem to hold up really well..then again these are just stock 250hp truck engines but atleast you know the build quality is there.
