Golen Engine Service???
Hey guys!!! Just wondering if anybody has heard any good or bad things about Golen Engine Service??? I'm thinking about buying their LT1 396 Competition short block. Just doing some research to make sure they are not like Nu-Tek or Agostino racing...you know big rip offs that steal your money....lol. Well if anybody has any info let me know, thanks.

Hmmm those prices are for the complete longblock with no core charge I think. Not bad, I bet that 396 is pretty bad ***. Gotta add this link to my favorites for when I get a good job next summer.

Watch out...they've been on an advertising blitzkrieg lately, and we all know what happens when these guys get super swamped with work. I've heard nothing negative about them, but things really start to slip when we get busy.

I can't say anything good about them. They auctioned stuff on ebay. I won. They didn't respond for 3 days after the auction. Refunded my money because they didn't receive my payment in a "timely manner" ( Immediatly after the auction????) And relisted with a reserve on the items I won

If your still looking for a very reputble, honest and super good engine builder then check out Dave Vissner at www.visnerengine.com
This guy is one of the top ranked intake manifold and cylinder head porters out there. Prior to opening up to the public he worked for some big Nascar team doing R&D for there intake manifold and cylinder heads as well as engine development/dyno tuning. Dave built the engine for the recent winning car at Daytona?
Give him a call you will not be disappointed at all!

I got a set of LT4 heads from them a while back for $800 brand new.
It took them about a month to get them to me, but they eventually got them to me.
I was thinking about getting a stroker from them...Id do business again
