Uhm, keep it off of the wall? J/K, although I highly recommend doing that. There are a couple of good posts about first time at the strip if you do a search. Mostly I would recommend telling the track people that it's your first time, they'll give you a basic rundown of how they operate. Make sure you understand the lights, when and when not to start your burnout etc. The other recommendation would be to take it easy for a few runs until you're comfortable. I've found that drag racing is more finesse than most people think, especially if you have traction issues, which you will.

Have fun.

well just get there and watch a few people race. I'm not sure if you've been to the track or not. This will just let you know where to go and how to stage, and get a look at the lights. As far as tips for your ET? get your car staged, hold your left foot on the brake, then right when the last yellow light flashes give it about 3/4 throttle. Most of the time if you just floor it off the line you'll spin too bad and worse if you stall it some and floor it. Then just keep her straight. I've got her a little squirrely for the 1-2 shift
