GOING CRAZY with the squeeks and rattles and creaks.

My car feels like its going to fall apart. almost EVERYTHING rattles. here is the list of noises that go on......

1. my clutch seems to make a decent amount of chatter noise. it still grabs like hell but damn this is annoying. (centerforce)

2. my hatch rattles. every single lope of the cam rattles it.

3. at take off there is a loud squeeking that seems to be at the front left of the car. what is this? a arm? k member? brakes? also makes the noise when i hit a speed bump or bump in the road.

4. the dash rattles. lord knows where though. seems to come from right in the front middle where the firewall is.

2 3 and 4 are w/me too....i learned to live with the squeaking noise, brakes are fine. the hatch, try playing around w/those rubber stopper thingies, screw them in more and it will make it tighter. usually my hatch doesnt rattle unless i have someone in the car for some reason....and the interior rattles, i have something like what you describe, and i think i tracked it down, see if the lock for the glovebox is loose.

One of the dreadful incentives for having true duals. Mine rattles as well. At a certain RPM, a small metal sound will chime too. Sounds like a minature chainsaw cutting through metal, but like the size of a penny or something. Can't figure out what it is.

Wink

good luck attacking the rattling gremlins .. hahaha My dash also ratteled, then i found it to be a place to put a screw. ive taking the dash off so many times i must have missed a screw. now that its in alls well. my hatch rattled too, and it was the spare. thank goodness ive taken it out. with my luck my dad would drive my car, get a flat, put the spare on the rear, and blow up my rear end !! hahaha plus extra weight i dont want. only rattle now is the damn headers banging on the frame. im gonna fix that soon.
