Do I need a special socket or something, also my car is 93z so the oil sending unit is by the oil filter. Thanks

You shouldn't need anything special to change that sender. You may want to consider removing the oil filter for clearance although it isn't completely necessary.

Yours is more accessible than the later years, so you might not need the special sensor socket. A deep 6 point socket might work on it, but a 12 point won't. The sensor has special rounded shoulders (that is why the special socket can be needed).
