going carburetor in my 96, what k-member???
i thinnk the lt1 and ls1 k-members are different right??? if i build a 350 carburetored motor for my 96 camaro, what k-member and trans should i run so i know it will all bolt up?? also what about motor mounts?? if you have web sites or part numbers, that would help a lot... also anything useful im going to need i would appreciate it
thanks

Re: going carburetor in my 96, what k-member???
I'm about 95% sure that LT1 blocks are externally identical to the older SBC motors, and thus the LT1 K-member and motor mounts should bolt right up. You would proabably need a (non computerized) 700R4 or TH350 if you were planning on using an auto. 700R4's are basically the same externally as 4L60E's, so you could use all the mounting hardware, etc. from that standpoint.
Getting the distributor to fit under the cowl may be a challenge, so I'd do some research there. It's been done before though.
Good luck.

You will have to run the LT-1 k member if it's an LT-1 car. The standard SBC will bolt right up. Seems wasteful to change to carbed on such a nice EFI setup.
