Just enter the part number that LiENUS gave you into the search engine of the GM Parts Direct website and it'll pop the page right up. On a sidenote, I haven't had a problem with the rubber coupler on my Trickflow elbow ripping.

My Trickflow has the provision for the IAT sensor. I cannot speak on the behalf of the Vortech, but I heard you have to drill a hole and create your own provision for the IAT.

Yes. With any aftermarket elbow you put on, you are going to want to incorporate the IAT sensor.

Just a note if you've never removed the iat before its kind of a bitch, just keep turning it back and forth as you pull it out of the old elbow and eventually itl'l come. Just don't keep removing and reinstalling the iat in your elbow or youl'l wear out the hole it fits in. If you have something you want the elbow off for but iat still hooked up pick up a spare or use a resistor.

I don't know whether this is actually the case, but the adapters on the TrickFlow look much thicker than the OEM elbow. I do know that my stock unit is ruined and needs to be replaced.

Is that a stock or 1LE elbow that comes with the Summit SLP Kit?

Thicker adapters only delay the eventual destruction, the root of the problem is putting the elbow on wrong, if you put the OEM elbow on properly itl'l never tear.

it looks like the 1LE, it doesnt have the huge tube like the stock one.

im not to worried about the new one ripping no matter which i go, the rip was from the previous owner who treated this car like crap. just trying to replace the bad with the good
