i was looking at the the GMPP valve covers p/n 12497979 and was just wondering if these would have clearance issues with the LT1 alternator? all of the GMPP valve covers seem to be the same height so any experience with any of them would probably be relevant.

I run those, which are the 141-131 Proforms and didn't know they carried a GM 12497979 part #. They fit well but you do have to grind a spot on the alt.
Very simple and takes all of 10 minutes.
