I've heard GMMG a good many times but never on an LT1, only on an LS1. It sounds good on video but i've never heard it in person. I went the much cheaper route and did true duals. If you dont have Longtubes then you could do the Dynomouth catback. I get alot of comments on it. Total price for my setup was about $250 or less. Soundclips and videos are in my signature of my true duals.

i have about $200-250 in my dual setup and thats alot cheaper than you are going to get the GMMG for. im not a fan of the GMMG setup, too many 180 degree bends to do any good. sure it sounds good but i would rather have more flow and my duals sound good

ttt How would i go about putting on true duals I would need hiflow cats because of emissions and since im saving money on the catback im going to do jet-hot lts. I have also heard that an xpipe flows better then an h-pipe. I want a deep clean sound without being too loud to the point where it would get anoying i want to have them go out the back too not just dump before the axles. Do i need to have an exhaust shop do this for me how much would everything cost and can anyone recomend me a shop in northern nj. THANX

Hey where did u order your x pipe from? Or did someone make it for you? I really like ur setup because you have great ground clearance with it. I have always been hesitant to do it because im afraid it would hang down to much, but your's doesnt at all! Great set up! let me know thanks

I PM'ed you back. No it doesnt hang down. Luckily all 4 bends that I ordered lined up perfect. All the muffler man had to do is line them up in the driveshaft tunnel so it wouldnt hit the drive shaft. Oh yea...its an H-pipe setup not an x-pipe. I wanted the deep sound over the few hp it might give me with the x-pipe. They both sound great. And it was just custom made. He welded a 2.5in pipe to join the 2 pipes thus making the h pipe.

I thought as long as you have cats you can pass the sniffer test they never look under the car so they wont know the cats have been moved if i still cant pass i will pay someone off or find a friend to do it. Someone please let me know if they can pass the sniffer test
