Just out of curiosity, since so many of you claim that LT's + borla sounds so bad on an LT1, why don't you post a sound/video clip to show everybody what you mean?

As bersaglieri stated, people rarely have anything bad to say about the GMMG. If you decide you don't like it, that is one of the most sought after exhausts on here, you could sell it with only little losses.
I believe bersaglieri was told by a sales rep that adding a cutout anywhere down the lenth of the exhaust would net you close to no gains over that catback. Thats what I call good flow

feels really laggy..not to mention the bolts always loosening up...and lets not talk about down shifting
With Borla, you can make it very quiet, or loud. That is the great thing about it.. I had headers, no cat but sleeved (very important to sound) Hollowed cat sounds like $hit on any exhaust. I personally loved it.. The only downside to Borla is what you mentioned downshift.. It likes to pop when downshifting..But down shifting it and punching it sounds like a raped ape.

It can be real loud with my setup. I raced a modded Supra and he had a hard time hearing when to shift because my car was soo loud.. I told him if he was ahead, he would not of had a problem
Better luck next time.
