GM Opti in Summit

Sorry if this is a re-post, but I did a search and no one seems to have mentioned this yet, but I received my Summit Racing catalog today and noticed they now have a GM opti in the TPI/LT1/LS1 section of their catalog.

NAL-10457702 '92-'94 LT1.............$384.95
NAL-1104032 '95-'97 LT1.............$276.95

I know their were a few places who had it priced similiar, but I just thought I'd share.

Jon

I bought my Opti from SamTaylor about a month ago. At the time it was $210... after shipping it was $217. Now it looks like it's gonna be about $223 shipped to you. Summit shipped to you will be $276.95.

So, looks like you'll save about $54 by going with SamTaylor.

if you're going to go through the trouble of getting at the opti pay the extra money and get a full gm unit. every single time i've read about people putting the cap/rotor kit on it it breaks in less then a month. no need to do things twice for more money.

It might be cheaper getting it from Sam Taylor if you can get Jason Cromer to reply to your e-mails which he has never replied to any of mine so I unfortunately had to go with Summit.

I've never had a problem at all contacting Jason. Sometimes he gets too busy to answer the emails as quickly as some may like. That's why they provide a telephone number.

I've never had a problem getting a hold of him over the phone...usually only takes one or two calls.

The one thing I *have* had a problem with is specifying different shipping and billing addresses...my parts always end up in never-never land. I learned my lesson and now when I order from him, I just tell him the shipping address...much easier that way.

Also, the 95+ style opti I just ordered from him was $215 (no shipping since it's a warranty replacement).

call

never email the guy, that doesn't work.
call. I always get a hold of him. I just ordered a non-vented opti for my vette today, $299. vented optis are much cheaper.
Also, I've have the Autozone reman vented opti in my caprice. $129 w/ LLT. It works geat! I'd say get that if you are tight for cash. Its not a rebuild kit but a complete opti. However, as I just said I ordered the GM unit for the sports car....

He doesn't work there anymore. So don't call Sam Taylor.
