Glove Compartment Question

Is there any way to tighten up the glove compartment door latch? Mine has gotten some sag I guess, and now any time I accelerate hard or hit a bump, I can see the light coming on and shining through the crack at the top of the door. Anybody have any suggestions or experience? It's not annoying during the day, but extremely annoying at night!

Just hammer the latch part in/up more so it closes tighter. That worked for me.

The civilized way to do it is to loosen the screws and adjust the latch. It has slotted mounting holes.

Great action. There's always more than one way to skin a cat. Thanks for both perspectives.

Mine was all the way up and still wasnt tight enough, hence the hammer-action.

If all else fails, replace the latch.
